4 Harriers and a brother today (5 if you count Matt McLay who whizzed past us at 8.14am while we were waiting in vain for our Comrie-ite members to appear. Not exactly sure why he didn't join us...one of those unsolvable mysteries I suppose).
After formally welcoming Peter McD back into the fold, we set off East along the overgrown and eroded path by the Earn, crossed the South Crieff Rd and up the Bogton Braes to allow the elder Sym to show the younger Sym the Booths' golf course. Past Auchingarrich and across the Braco Road before returning back via a muddy forestry track down to CultyB and the Ruchil back to Comrie. Finished off with a shoe-cleaning wade across the Earn (though Jim McC was more than happy to keep his shoes muddy and use the bridge like any sensible person). About 7miles or maybe 8 or maybe 9 depending on who you asked.

Guys , sounds like a good run and I'm very sorry I missed it but on a short and tentative run round the Knock on Saturday afternoon I managed to strain a calf muscle.
Almost certainly a classically stupid "not enough stretching and warming up after a layoff" problem but I am now reluctantly taking an even more extended rest from running. |

| Really sorry to hear about your calf strain it seems very unfair to get an injury when you've not been running for the last month! Hope it recovers quickly. |

Whizzed may be a bit much but thank you anyway - not so unsolvable - I was on the way home as needed to get back to do a bit of painting before attending church so the paint was dry for second coat that afternoon - working to tight deadlines!!
Nice to see you all though and sorry to hear of your calf strain Gordon, hope you are seeing an improvement now
