|
|
Next 5 mile time trial will take place this Saturday, 21 March. As usual, meet at Taylor Park at 9.45 for a 10.00 start. We'll all start together.
A suggestion was put forward that it would be good to go for coffee/ cakes after the time trial. Is anyone up for this? If so I would suggest that we make our way to the Famous Grouse cafe after the race - unless anyone has a better choice of venue?

Perfect!
FYI - Me & Kirsty are running the Alloa Half marathon on Sunday.
So, I doubt if I'll be running in the time trial. I might just jog round one circuit with Lara or I will gladly do the time keeping if that helps? (let me know in advance please....if you can!)
We'll certainly be there and look forward to TFG afterwards. _________________ "Sorry, I've got to run." |

| Would it be easier if we bought along some coffee and cakes and made use of the picnic benches at Taylor Park instead? I'm happy to make some cakes and a flask of coffee. |

Ian, sorry but I wont make this time trial either, as I am away overnight in Glasgow and also have a painful hip (bursitis?) so am not running for a while in the hope it will resolve.
But if I'm back in time I'll come down for the cakes and coffee! |

I'll be at the time trial with James and may be Matthew. George if you were there that would be great so James can do his circuit and have someone to run back to at the start while I do circuit no 2!
See you all then

Judith will be there but I might be in Newcastle collecting a daughter. Since the weather prospects still look good for Saturday, Judith's up for bringing cake and coffee as well so there should be plenty to go around - even for the apparently increasing number of (male) non-runners......

| George, thanks - I don't have anyone else pencilled in to do the times, so it would be great if you could do it. See you on Saturday. Ian |

Only 4 running this week, with the star performance definitely coming from Judith who knocked 1 minute and 38 seconds off her previous best time. Times as follows:
Ian Beattie - 34.52
Ali Manners - 41.57
Judith Tipping - 43.42
James Manners (2.62 miles) - 29.20
