Some people may wish to take their own transport because they have other commitments for the day and want to be able to drive home before the race is finished (from memory, the prizegiving is not likely to be before 2.30).

The logistics on the day get a bit complex, particularly as the time gaps between teams increase later in the race, so it's a bit difficult to have a fixed plan for transport.

But what is certain is that having two cars dedicated to moving runners around on the day will be a great help.
