I plan to be there too. Colin, last time we all ran and took our own times so that no one had to miss out on the session. Just a suggestion so ignore it if you like.

Ingrate that I am, Liz's suggestion was duly ignored this blustery morning as five of us, Graham, Liz, Phil T, Judith and I appeared with me clearly clothed to spectate, not participate.
Liz was about to dash off to holiday on Skye so only planned one lap. Judith was recovering from poorliness and, attempting one lap, had to abandon after only a short way so no one-lap time. Other times:
Phil T - 34m24s (excellent given he ran 20 miles in training yesterday)
Graham - 38m55s (also excellent given the hangover...)
Liz (one lap) - 21m31s (a best one-lap time according to Mrs M so three excellents out of three)
Thanks again to all four for making the effort on a not very welcoming morning.

A big thank you to Colin for standing in the wind and rain for 40min.

I'm planning to start doing these runs maybe just starting with 1 lap and gradually building up to the 2. Or poor Colin could be standing there for a couple of hours!!

Well done!Well done Ally. There is only one way to get better and that is to bite the bullet. Nothing like other people being around to keep you moving.
For any new harriers that don't know Ally, she has started running from a walk run program and it is really brave for her to take this leap. I think it is great and an inspiration to all new runners.
Enjoy Saturday. I may be there, but had a nasty dose of the flu' and I am just taking each day as it comes. Had a wee walk / run myself today and it felt ok so hopefully on the mend.

Great stuff, Ali. Since you'll undoubtedly be getting quicker by the week - and I'm definitely going in the other direction - my words of encouragement for you to progress successfully to finding two laps no problem has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with my current status as the Officially Slowest Runner of the Strathearn Harriers Time Trial. Please feel free to leave my record low (44m25s) untarnished and allow me to keep the 'trophy'.
