Thursday 18th JuneAgain, just 3 of us out this evening   . Despite getting his name wrong (must remember he's Jason and not Julian!  ) and being taken on several memorable Digby Detours across swamps and through bracken jungles  , our new potential member seemed to enjoy himself and even got the beers in  . Just the sort of new member we like!  Plus he has a Mrs who runs too and will be keen to come along once she's over her foot surgery in a few months
The route we took is a little tricky to describe but essentially it was a variation on the theme of Leg 1 in reverse.
There was some rain, some sun an no ticks (that I've so far found) despite the multiple bracken encounters.
Good fun.

First RunI had a great introductory run with Phil and Digby who gave me a warm welcome into the club. Rather interesting route through various flora and fauna followed by steep slippery slopes, large dykes, burns, bracken at shoulder height, jungle like forrests ,swampland,etc etc whilst Digby continually reassuring he knew where he was going !
I committed to this Thursdays run (22nd), wherever it may be however in my haste I didn't realise I was working so won't be along. Should be about for next Tuesday (30th) and Thursday (2 July) though. See you then
