Stonehaven half marathonPhil T and I both headed up north for today's Stonehaven half marathon. It was a tough one. I finished in 1.29.39 (28th place) and Phil in 1.31.14 (32nd place). A full report can be found here:

I can definitely support what Ian said about this race. Tough but a good course and v well organised.
Personally I couldnt have been more pleased with my race.Apart from a slow 20 miler with Ian a few weeks ago thats the furthest I have run since Loch Ness last October. My best case scenario was finishing uninjured so to speed up in th 2nd half of the race and be passing people felt absolutely wonderful. I have literally finished half marathons 6 minutes slower and fet disappointed. Just shows that almost losing something you really enjoy and then geting it back makes you appreciate it even more.
It was a PW but I have no problem with that.
