Rock Climbing with Lawrence & Wendy-Fri 4th Dec -7pm

Very Happy I am very pleased to announce that Lawrence & Wendy have once again agreed to provide professional training and equipment at Morrison’s Academy Indoor Rock Climbing Wall.

Friday 4th December 7pm to 9pm

This offer is open to family and friends of Strathearn Harriers at the cost of only £5 per person (one price for all – no discounts for children or OAP’s).
All ages are welcome to participate, children MUST be accompanied by an adult.

This is always a successful night (thanks to Lawrence & Wendy)...So please try to get there early and be prepared to sit, chat and laugh at others struggling to get up the wall.

What a fantastic night! I hear you say!....But there’s more:-

After the Rock Climbing we have all been invited to Judith & Colin’s House for après climb food & drink! It is very kind of Judith to volunteer to open her house to a bunch of hungry Harriers. We used to go to the Tower Hotel after, but it is now closed down, so it is Judith to the rescue. A small donation of £5 will be expected to help cover the cost of the food (an absolute bargain!)

Whether you’ve taken part in the Rock Climb or not - This invite is open to Harriers & families (yes the kids are welcome!..If you keep them under control!...lol)

So, meet at Morrison’s Gym for Climbing, then we all head to J & C’s for about 9.30 or if you don’t want to climb, just meet up with us at J & C’s House with bottle in hand!

To help all concerned with numbers:-
Please state below whether you intend to Climb Only, Climb & Dine or Dine only.

George & Kirsty intend to Climb & Dine.

Looking forward to it  Very Happy

J&I will (probably) be there....  The address for them as doesn't know it is:

Tanglewood
Murrayfield Loan
Crieff PH7 3ET

Appropriately, the road is a dead-end but anyone arriving by car is invited to block our neighbours' access so we can annoy them (joke!! - they're all lovely people so feel free to use our drive if there's space; park at George's place if not).

And if it's not too late for the weenies, feel free to bring descendants of all varieties.  A number of diversions for small bored minds (other than George's) available on request.

Great news that the climbing is a bit later as Al and I should be able to get there in time for a decent climb.

Therefore Al and I will be climbing and dining.

Great idea, count us in.
Judith do you want us to prepare something and bring it along. Sorry but my burger flipping days are over for this year.

Fiona and I will be up for that (climbing and dining) - I hadn't realised the club spanned such a range of activities!

Later start is great, as it means Patrick can make it this time!

Patrick, Cait and I should be there, and maybe Sally as well (depending on teenage social commitments  Rolling Eyes )

Just to add a little more about the after-party, we're not expecting anyone to bring food (though feel free if you're desperate to do so; just let Judith know what you're bringing by Monday 30 November) - just bring your own booze.

We're catering for as many varieties of food needs as we know about so PLEASE tell us if you have any special requirements other than lots of healthy calories.  There will definitely be veggie stuff, gluten-free, etc., and our Specialist Catering Contractor is up for any further culinary challenges known to man (or woman).  Those of you bringing youngsters might also have some of their favourites we can include - so let us know if so.

What we WOULD appreciate is some help before (ideally during the day on Friday 4th) and at the end with some of the clearing up.  Anyone able to help during Friday, please let Judith know (01764 652425) and she'll organise you.

Looks so far as though there'll be 30-40 Harriers and families coming so should be a lively do!
