Monday 1st June7 of us out this morning in the glorious sunshine: Tracey, Sheilagh, seonaid, Liz, Kathleen, Kona and myself.
We did the 10k route the correct way round in an attempt to seek out some shade. It really was very warm and we all ended up splashing ourselves in the river towards the end.
As I had baked a cake over the weekend I brought it along for a wee picnic in the park after the run for which George joined us.
A very enjoyable Monday morning!

Really sorry to have missed it but was waiting in for the AA man to sort out BOTH our cars!! Fortunately he was fantastic and sorted one out and the other is in the garage waiting on a part.
I can't believe I missed cake! Catastrophe.

Thanks again George for giving Polly and I a lift home. Polly is now sporting a bandage and sock equally as stylish as Lara's, and being quite the limping drama queen about it.

Sorry J&I were absent without leave - J at the doctor's (you don't need to ask), me taxi driver for weekend visitors returning to England.
Can't make tonight - J galavanting with old colleagues, me dog-sitting for a friend. Maybe Thursday, damaged limbs allowing..., but definitely next Monday.
