Crieff 10kAnother splendid race made possible by the efforts of Alison and her army of helpers: marshals, cake/sandwich/tea makers, time-keepers, first aiders, strimmers, course markers, car park attendants, registration desk officials, water station attendants, results-sheet-shuttlers, "to-the-race"-sign-putter-uppers, starters, prize-giver-outers, pavilion sweepers, toilet cleaners, table carriers etc etc.
There's such a lot of hard work that goes into a race like this but it does the race organizer (and the club as a whole) great credit when it all goes so smoothly.
Well done too to those that ran the 10k especially Colin Glencorse who finished 8th overall (1st Harrier) and Angela Mackenzie who once again claimed the first local prize.
8th COLIN GLENCORSE 38 30
64th ANGELA MACKENZIE 45 25
90th MATTHEW MCLAY 47 22
115th ERIC SIDEBOTTOM 49 28
168th PATRICK ANDREWS 53 35
204th FRAN LOOTS 58 49
219th KENNY ROBERTSON 62 0
All in all a very successful day!

I'd just like to say thanks for all the organisation behind yesterday's event...especially the herculean strimming effort. Cheers, patrick

A huge big thank you to everyone who helped to make this year's race another successful one. It really is a team effort and I reckon we've got the best team in the business
I tried to make sure I spoke to everyone who helped on the day but if I missed you for some reason please know that your efforts are truly appreciated. A special mention must go to Phil M and Ian for getting the results out in record time. Prizegiving by 12.26pm was truly impressive!
As ever there are always a few glitches on the day (safety pins ) but if anyone has any comments/suggestions/observations about any aspect that could be improved please let me or the committee know.
Thanks for making it a great race!

I have just read all the replies to the write up of the 10k on our blog - they are very, very positive - so a huge well done to all those involved.
