Took a few snaps today and a wee bit of video footage of the start. Congrats to Ali Bea for a well organised and successful race - big glass of wine for you tonight at Abi's!!

Congrats to a good set of Harrier times and particularly well done to Angela for winning local lady in 2007 and 2008 and having baby Amber in between!!! A bit like Paula! Very Happy

For the record, here are some stats about the race.
This year we had 140 pre-entries online and 142 entries on the day, giving a total entry of 282.
26 of the pre-entries did not register or run on the day.
2 runners who started gave up their race to become sweepers - thanks George and Kirsty
So in effect we had 254 starters, of whom 4 did not finish and 250 did.

Comparison of some of these numbers with previous years looks like this:
2008 140 pre-entries, 282 total, 250 finishers
2007 120 pre-entries, 242 total, 223 finishers
2006 80 pre-entries, 217 total, 197 finishers
2005 116 pre-entries, 284 total, 266 finishers
2004 198 finishers (no other info available to me).
