Comrie Fortnight - Fun Run - Thursday 7th August The ‘Fun Run’ did, in fact, turn out to be quite fun last night.
The race started as we were all serenaded out of the Park by the youngsters playing their electric guitars in the big marquee (lead by my son Struan!). 
Phil M high fived all the kids from the Junior race running towards the finish of their race as he ran passed them on way out of the park.
The adult numbers were very poor, a total of 22 runners (I think 14 of which were Harriers). Weather was dry and even brightened up later on.
The marshals, all volunteers from Strathearn Ramblers did a great job, cheering us on with big smiles all the way (including my Dad).
At the end of the race 12 Harriers retreated to the ‘Comrie Hotel’ for Beer, sandwiches & chips, all of whom had enjoyed their evening.

I had the pleasure of being last across the finish line with a big smile on my face and big thank you to Fiona who accompanied me round. (approx 56 mins).
Great fun, looking forward to next year.
