Bupa Great Edinburgh Run

I had a lovely morning out on sunday participating in this 10km & sporting my 'harriers' vest, possibly the only one amongs the thousands of runners?
It was well organised & a great atmoshere.Moving the start to just off the Royal Mile helped too as there were lots of corner shops & cafes open for last minute & post race sustinance. Also more for the supporters to do & see.
I can only say that running with the Harriers every week prepares you for anything & no hill or incline is too daunting after Laggan hill on a monday morning.
So anyone reading this who may be daunted by tails of running up mountains, along the WHW etc fear not, there are some ordinary mortals in this club too who were pretty chuffed with their 57.13 time on sunday!
Possibly a PB! see I've even picked up the lingo!
see you monday fellow sufferers.

Well done, Fiona - look forward to hearing more when we see you.  After our (very likely) wet & windy weekend in Ullapool, and with the promise of better on Monday, we might well stay in the NW for an extra day or two so probably won't see you next Monday.  Hopefully, we'll catch up on the 18th.

Very Happy Colin
