brig bash 5Last night, James, Ian, Rob and myself took part in the fairly flat and fast course that is the Brig Bash 5 mile road race. 218 runners finished in the hottest and most humid conditions. Our times were as follows:
Ian 33min 28 sec
Angela 34min 53 sec
James 36min 51 sec
Rob 44min 15 sec
The winner was Mike Carrol from Perth Road Runners who finished in 26min 4 sec!
We all really enjoyed it and as usual the after race spread was fantastic!!
Well Done to us all!

"we all really enjoyed it"
Think I must have been at a different race  I checked the temperature in the car at the finish and it was 25 degrees. Felt about double that during the run itself. I thought I might collapse at various stages and was just hugely relieved to get to the finish, where the sweat continued to pour out of me for hours afterwards.
Apart from all that it was great fun  and the spread at the end was the usual high standard from Perth Road Runners.
