Big Thank youI'd like to say a huge big thank you to everyone who helped make this year's 10k a success. I've already had a few emails and seen a few blogs praising our event.
In no particular order I want to say thank you to
Phil T for his patient support whenever I had a mild(!) panic attack, help in setting up the pavillion and car parking the day before, registration, timekeeping and compering on the day. (Thanks for not laughing too much when I asked why you didn't use the PA system at the start )
Liz T for safety pin duty, registration, time keeping, money counting, toilet cleaning and tidying up.
Liz and Phil M for their help and support in answering my my endless questions and setting the paperwork in motion for this year's race.
Gordon and Ian for the admin at registration and processing the results so efficiently.
Shelagh for masterminding the catering (which has been hugely complimented)
Hazel for assisting Shelagh and stepping in to help with the goodie bags at the end.
Ali M for helping at registration and at the funnel
Digby for organising the money, keeping the runners in order at the funnel and putting out the road signs with Gordon. And for also generally being available as a dogsbody.
Jim, Janet and family for manning the water station and tidying up. Special thanks also to Jim for superbly marking out the course (also complimented by runners)
James for assisting Jim in setting out the course and keeping runners in order in the funnel.
Simon, Kona and Adrian for marshalling at the crucial bits.
Rob, Walter and the pipers for their suberb efforts in creating a great atmosphere
David Adams for car parking duty
Cathy for cleaning up.
And especially George and Kirsty for 'volunteering' to be our sweepers. Their help with the injured runner was invaluable. The job's yours again next year if you want it!
Thanks also to all the kids who helped out with various jobs like making juice and putting leaflets in the goodie bags, to everyone who baked cakes and made sandwiches and to everyone else who helped in some way. If I've missed anyone out give me a shout.
It was an outstanding team performance. Thank you everyone for your support.

I think a big well done is in order for Alison as well. The race went really well.Apart from a couple of unforseeable medical events it couldnt have gone any smother really.
As Alison says it was a good team effort but every good team has a good leader.
So lets enjoy a well earned rest before the Comrie Relay in 2 months time.
