Ben NevisLooking forward to hearing from the Harriers who took part, but the results of the Ben race on Saturday are now up at http://www.fsa-sky.org/new/images...is%20race%202008%20-%20result.pdfBecause it was a Buff Skyrunner race this year the field was particularly competitive, with a lot of unusually foreign (eg Catalan and Basque rather than Northern English!) names in the list. An excellent run by Colin Glencorse got him to the finish line just 12 seconds over the 2 hour mark, and Ben virgin Phil M should be pretty pleased with his time of 2.08.52. Digby and Adrian ran 2.31.51 and 2.53.55 respectively, not their fastest times but respectable nonetheless and reflective of neither being on top form. Wearing his Ochils vest, Bob Hughes ran a creditable 2.24.31. |

Well done all, sounds like the World's best were out in force so you have run in esteemed company! There are some photos on the Scottish hill racing website - spotted Digby (looking weary!) in a few but not the others sadly. |
