Belated Happy New Year to everyone – as a relatively new member I look forward to running with you (or at least hanging onto the back of the group) over the next year.
For anyone who has thought about Pilates there is a class suitable for absolute beginners (like me) just started in Crieff this week – so if you come along next week you won’t have much to do to catch up!!
It’s held at St Andrew’s Church Hall between 6 and 7 on Monday evenings and costs £5 per class. Ideally you need to bring your own towel and mat.
Elaine Reynolds is the teacher – you can contact her on 683 468 if you want any further info.
Regards
Matt

happy new year to all!
I have been doing pilates for a while (more seriously after i hurt my back).
I can recomend it.
I first thought it would be a nice bit of relaxation, you know - lieing on a mat lifting my legs about a bit, but the more advance you become the harder the exercises get.
I don't go to the above mentioned class, but i am sure it will be good.
It's all about inner strength of the core muscles and has definately helped in my rehabilitation.
It'll be good for all you hill runners, i'm sure...
p.s from my research £5 is not that expensive either.
