There were 7 of us out this evening including Colin and Judith who were braving there first Wednesday evening run. Colin, Judith and i all took different routes around the town but managed to meet up again at the top of Craigard Road where we waited a while for the others but then carried on thinking they would catch us up. However, we unfortunately didn't see the others who i believe were waiting for us at Craigard- usual chaos!!

Another new experience braved. I hate evening runs, Judith likes them. She ran better - but that's only because she is better..... Really appreciated Liz's company when she was feeling less than perfect (even if the three of us found our own separate ways from Taylor Park to Newstead). Looking forward to lighter evenings - even though torture is kinder in the dark.
Unfortunately, Judith and I will be in Oxford next Wednesday entertaining my son and partner but fear not, we shall return for the 18th and hope we can enjoy Liz's company again - and maybe George and one or two others from the O&S Section of the Club? After our sojourn with daughters in Holland on the 25th, hope we can make the (Tuesday?) evenings a regular appearance even as we wave cheerio to The Proper Runners as they hasten away from the Rec doing what Proper Runners do...
