I am planning on being there.
I think this is a great way to train and the hardest you can push yourself outside of a race.

As it is still quite an effort to move from the sofa to the kitchen to make a cup of tea, due to a rather nasty bout of the flu', I will not be belting around Lady Mary's this week!

Have fun! Wink

Hope you have a good one.  I'll not be there as I need to get some off road training in.

3 of us turned out this morning. I know this run has suffered from a lack of participants recently but hopefully we can reinvigorate it over the next few months and get a good turnout.
I set off feeling pretty good and within a mile the wheels came right off. This is what happens when you dont train specifically i guess.
I spite of that I was really glad to have the run under my belt and I know all 3 of us will benefit in the weeks to come.
The times were as follows;
Phil T 33.37
Graham M 37.53
Liz 41.21

The next time trial is on October the 3rd.

...and just a suggestion, but, if you can't make the next time trial, (or any other event for that matter), it might be better if you text or email or phone the organizer rather than posting your non-availability on the forum. It seems to me that if we get a whole sequence of people saying they won't be there, it could be a disincentive to anyone who might have been swithering about coming along.
