Judith (running - subject to knee) & I (timing - subject to Achilles) WILL be there so hopefully it won't just be Joka who'll put in a time this session.....

No takers this week so no times. Spotted a few Harriers out running this fine morning but clearly none interested in the Time Trial so I do wonder at its continuing value as an organised event. Maybe we should just let those who are interested do the route when it suits them, time themselves and post their own times on the Forum.

| Sorry you had a wasted journey Colin. I was disappointed not to be able to do the time trial as i do see it as an important part of training. Ali if you are around next Saturday a.m i'd be happy to meet up then? |

Very disappointing for you Colin. I have a good excuse being in Toronto. However I do think people are voting with their feet on this issue. Its a shame as I really value the time trial.
I wouldnt give up on it yet however as we have had some other club runs when noone has turned up but they carry on and wax and wane.
It does however seem a poor use of your time to turn up to time. If people want to do the timetrial they will have to organise a timer or be prepared to take their own time. |

Just another thought. Why don't we try and go once a month to one of the Saturday morning 5k Park Runs, either in Glasgow or Edinburgh? These are designed to be time trials, entry is free (but you have to register first online), and it would be a good chance to do some speed work. Anyone up for trying one out?
