Although the run was programmed to meet in Comrie the previous night's indulgences prevented me driving......The rather inclement weather also played a part in me not wanting to head towards Comrie for a soaking there.
Jim kept me company as we headed over the fields of Ochtertyre Estate deep in discussion about the relative intelligence of cows compared to horses! We crossed the road and headed towards Laggan Hill and joined Lady Mary's Walk. My new Inovate trail shoes were great and grippy preventing a repetition of the dance floor antics I fondly remember from my youth.
Such was the precipitation, we chose to miss out on the river side bit for fear of becoming fish food. I did have a nasty flash back to the rather embarrassing navigational error I made the day before whilst on the inaugural club time trial.
No surprises why there were few runners, thanks for being there Jim (and putting up with my soap box moments). Apologies for those who were equally insane and waiting for someone to run with in Comrie.
