Don't forget this week sees the start of our summer run schedule. Tuesday 6pm at Taylor Park, Thursday 7pm Laggan Field in Comrie.
This week we're doing a Pyramid session on Tuesday and then on Thursday, after a sociable 5-6 mile run we'll go for a pint or two at the Comrie Hotel.
Would be great if you could try to come to one of these at least to get the new programme off to a good start!!!
See you there

Don't forget, Thursday 2nd April sees the first Comrie run of new summer schedule. 7pm from Laggan Field in Comrie (meet there or at Taylor Park, Crieff at 6.45pm).
We'll aim to do a little less than an hour's off-road running (there should be enough light until after 8pm these days) and then repair to the Comrie Hotel for a beer or cold glass of white wine according to choice.
Hope to see you there! |

I can't make tonight's session but I think Graham M said he would take it for me. Just a reminder, tonight should be a Reps session.
1 mile warm up
6x3mins fast with 1.5 min rest
1 mile cool down
Benefit: Speed for 5k-1/2 Marathon
Description: In my view this is one of the most effective speed sessions to do for 10k. It’s 18 mins of hard running and by rep 3 or 4, 1.5 min rest feels like nothing.
Look forward to reading about it on the forum tomorrow!
