Two harriers made it to this one - on a cracking sunny morning in scenic Denny and Bonnybridge! I was feeling a bit sad not to be up in Inverness (where my entire extended family were running in the 5/10k/marathon) so this seemed a good last minute alternative. Met Rob B on the start line and enjoyed the undulating course with around 600 others. Thought I was on for a much quicker time than Pitlochry, but (very like Pitlochry) the final km had been 'interestingly' measured (plus uphill and into the wind) and I finally crawled in at 47.25 and Rob came in soon after, beaming broadly, at 53.26. There was also a very friendly chap whose name I've forgotten, but he apparently runs with us regularly (has a holiday house or caravan near Glenturret??) and sent his regards. An enjoyable and well organised race nearby, if anyone fancies it next year.
(PS Having finally remembered my password I'll try and be a bit more active on forum in future!!!)
