5 (Colin, Judith, Fiona, Tracey and myself) of us out this morning in absolutely gorgeous conditions.
The route was the good old faithful of the 10k route going up Laggan to start with. It doesn't matter how many times you do the route, however the views never cease to amaze - blue skies, white hills, green fileds - stunning!
Hope to see some more regulars next week.
Kaz.

Have you ever considered running in Comrie on a Monday ??
Variety is after all the spice of life. |

Comrie on a Monday is a good point to suggest…… Thank you Phil.
However, personally, I would not like to change our sacred ‘Monday Run’.
There is something reassuring about meeting up with the same group of people running round familiar tracks, the same time every week.
We have had groups of ‘Monday Runners’ occasionally meeting at my house in Comrie and running various routes on days other than a Monday, when work and time allows, hopefully this will continue!
Also, we have introduced an unofficial ‘End of Term’ special ‘Monday Run’ running alternative routes away from Crieff and ending up at a restaurant for lunch.
The ‘Monday Run’ attracts more participants than the other weekly training sessions (at the moment!) and continues to attract more new members. For that reason alone, I think it should remain as it is.
These are entirely my own views and might not be shared by others.
This is why we have this forum, for people to make new suggestions and for others to put forward their views. _________________ "Sorry, I've got to run." |

Fair enough.
I agree its far and away the most successful weekly run although the Saturday morning run is coming up on the rails.
If people value doing the same run every week it would be foolish to change.
One of the strongest themes at the AGM was that people wanted to know what they were coming to when they went to a training run. I guess the common theme of the 2 most successful training runs is that people know exactly what they are coming to.
I'm probably just sticking my nose in where it isn't wanted.
Keep up the good work.
