Wonder if anyone has an exercise bike which I could borrow for a couple of months? Need to get started on the long road back to fitness after breaking my leg.

Seonaid,
I have a turbo trainer which you can borrow. It fits both mountain bikes and road bikes. I can bring it around if you want to try it. Good idea to clean the tyres first!

That is really kind of you but unfortunately don't think I'd be able to cope yet with a turbo trainer.

Could I change my mind about borrowing your turbo trainer? I'm feeling a lot more able and going mad with being inactive. So if the offer is still open ....?
