This year's 10k will be on 12th July. As you would expect there has been lots of activity going on behind the scenes and entries are now being taken at EntryCentral. The Famous Grouse Experience are supporting us once again this year.
Like most good events we need lots of volunteers to help out on the day. We are a small club compared to others but we know how to organise a superb event We need lots of marshalls (free packed lunch provided) to direct runners, man the water station and give out goody bags. We need someone to organise the catering and then feed the runners. We need people to put up signs, direct the car parking etc etc In short, we need you!
Could you please check your diaries/holiday plans now and let me know if you are available to help out in any way? Some clubs insist that their members do not run in their own event Fortunately we always seem to have enough people available so we do not need to enforce such a rule. However, if you've taken part in the race for a few years in a row please consider helping this year and letting someone else who has helped run instead.
Some people have already indicated to me that they are available and I know of some others who have holiday plans. I will be emailing everyone this week so please give it some thought and have your excuses ready You can PM me or leave a message below. Or wait until I email you later in the week. Spread the word to those who may not read the forum too

Pretty sure Al and I will be here this year and we will be happy to help out. One or the other may want to run, or both of us but ONLY if not required as help.
Good luck with the planning, Ally.

Judith & I will be there as well. Wasn't there something threatened at the AGM about taking finishers' times?.... Where are the chips, I ask (or is that a fishy question)?
