If you've eaten too many recently and you're not as nippy as you could be maybe the time trial this Saturday(Halloween) is for you!! Usual start time of 10 am.

Does this mean that Liz is going to provide cakes for all who turn up? And do I get to eat, erm guard them whilst the run takes place?

Jayne, Christopher and I will be there.
It will be a new experience trying this without a hangover.

| Dash it all, now my plan is back firing! However, i think a post time trial coffee and a slice of cake would be a good idea. I'll see what i can rustle up. |

Hi I am going to come along for a hobble, still sore knees from that silly walk we did, the west highland way. I can confirm that anyone who has run or plans to run it must be absolutely mad... _________________

It is 9.45 for a 10am start.
Meet Taylor Park but wander up the road a bit (over the bridge up the hill, first left and along the road to where you will see people jogging about and trying to find last minute spots to have a quick pee so make sure to be quick to avert your eyes young man!)
Time trial course can be once or twice round as fast as you can. My advice - no pastries before hand!
Hope you 'enjoy'.
I am not ready to do any speed work so will have to keep up my steady plodding until proper energies return.

Family-style turnout this morning with runners Graham & Jane + Christopher (& two well-trained dog-handlers) plus Liz + Dominic. Miscellany of Gordon, Jack and George (+ Lara) and J&I. Judith ran, I counted them out then counted them in.
1-lap times:
Dominic - 22m37s
Christopher - 27m22s
Lara - 27m37s (probably ran about the equivalent of 5 laps so a clear winner)
George - 27m42s
2-lap times:
Gordon - 36m50s
Jack - 39m05s
Graham - 40m05s
Liz - 41m35s
Jane - 44m05s
Judith - 46m32s
Well done to all who ran (and tail-wags to the dog-minders).
Last, but not least, thanks to Liz, Graham & Jane for supplying water, coffee & cakes to all at the end - when thankfully the weather stayed dry.
